Milko Rivera, P.Eng.,PQ - Founder
Arete, a concept of ancient Greek thought.
When coming to Canada from Ecuador, Rivera wanted to study at the top Canadian Engineering Faculty and do well.
He was given the opportunity to study at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Toronto, Department of Geological & Mineral Engineering. In Canada, The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Toronto consistently ranked first among other Canadian engineering faculties.
While at University, Rivera’s awareness of how intrusive mining is in the environment led him to achieve first academic standing and excelled in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geochemistry among other science-engineering subjects.

MINING SECTOR EXPERIENCE
After graduation, he wanted to work at a prestigious Canadian engineering firm, engage in mining operations and excel at his work.
Rivera was part of the SNC-Lavalin Engineers & Constructors team that received the prestigious “Award for Engineering Achievement” for the Diavik Diamonds Project owned by Rio Tinto, Northwest Territories, Canada.
EXPERTISE
His Canadian expertise involves investment risk reduction in the mining industry through planning , executing and evaluating data of exploration campaigns; mine design; economic evaluations; construction and operations covering the whole mining cycle: from exploration to mine closure.
